Whatever the season...the mountain provides entertainment for all ages.  Our four seasons are magical each in their own way.

  • Winter Magic -you will see visita's of our area that are not available during the rest of the year.  If you are lucky there may be some snow.  Our average snowfall is 15-30 inches. Relax by the fire

Let it snow…let it snow…let it snow…The ski slope in Sapphire Valley loves snow. The highlight is the Outhouse Race that takes place Sat. Feb. 13th. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the favored odds to win again. Will they? Enjoy the fun, good food, and hospitality. After the excitement dies down you might want to try the Zordac Zip Line down the ski slope or get on your skis.

Ice Skating??? Check out Highlands’ new Ice Skating Rink. If you don’t have any skates, they furnish them with your $5 ticket. Open Thursdays-Sunday. Thurs. 1-8, Fri and Sat. 1-10 and Sun 1-5

Ready for a dip? Highlands indoor swimming pool is open year round. Sapphire Valley Resort is open daily for those that own or are renting in Holly Forest, Whisper Lake, Deer Run or many of the condos in the area.
